We Love Auburn!

This past weekend the ATL Lamberth's went back to Alabama for an Auburn basketball game.  It was Auburn's first SEC game in their new arena.  Hank nor I had been to the arena before, so we had a blast looking around inside the new building.  I left my camera, so here are some pictures I took with my phone.  Sorry if they are a little fuzzy.

The arena has a "museum" for visitors to walk through.  It has a show case for every sport at Auburn University.  Our friend Lee Williams played golf at Auburn and was featured in the golf highlights!  (He's the guy with the navy hat.)  Way to go, Lee!

My favorite display was Aubie's transformation through the years.

Auburn was not looking so good during the first half of the game, only scoring 6 points.  However, they came out fighting the second half and really made it a fun game to watch.  Unfortunately, we were down so much from the first half that we didn't have enough time to come back and win.  Oh well....maybe next time.

Thanks Ronnie and PJ for looking after Henry so we could enjoy the game.  I can only imagine how great it will be to take him to some Auburn events in the future!

All poor Henry has heard about since he's been on this earth is Auburn football, and Hank has been trying to convey the magnitude of this day to him.  This is what their dialogue sounds like:

Hank:  "Can you believe Auburn is playing for the National Championship today baby?"
Henry:  coo
Hank: "War Eagle fly down the field, ever to conquer never to yield...."
Henry: coo and smile
Hank: "Glory, glory to ole' Auburn!"
Henry: coo, coo, smile

We are now less than 2 hours from kick off!  Hopefully we will have a victory tonight!
